Factors Affecting Quality of Life

Abstract
Data were obtained on the methods of assessing the quality of life. It was found that the measure of this indicator can be the efficiency of resource use. One of the options for such resources is the level of GDP per capita. It was found that the dependences of the HDI on this indicator obtained in the usual way and the HDI, taking into account inequality, differ little.
For HDI, excluding and with taking into account social inequality, the sets of points and the sets of approximation curves differ slightly, which indicates a significant influence of the variable per capita GDP. Moreover, for the HDI, without taking into account inequality, the dependence on GDP per capita is even stronger than for the case with inequality, although in the latter case the data spread is lower.
A complex criterion for assessing the quality of life, formed by multiplying particular criteria, is proposed. Using a complex criterion, three groups of states were identified in terms of the efficiency of resource use.
